Concealed Carry Classes Benton LA

Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about gun carrying. Take a look below.

1. It is pretty common for the average passeryby to have no clue.

I don’t mean this in an offensive way at all, I mean it quite literally. Initially, it seems like everyone notices your gun. It becomes apparent after some time, that people are pretty bad at paying attention to anything other tan technology.

2. People who are usually very against guns can change their minds in a split second.

3. Why you can’t settle for just any belt.

By having a good belt, you are preventing your gun flopping around too much. A good belt is key to having your holster fit properly.

4. The value of a good holster.

What should you expect from a good holster?

A holster will hold your gun in a fixed position. If you ever need to reach for your gun, it will be exactly where you expect. It won’t move around and you won’t have to constantly check the position of your gun.

A time may come when you have to get your gun quickly. In this instance, your trigger would be protected. In order to protect the trigger, the holster will offer you safety while you get a good handle on your pistol.

Your firearm is protected because you are in charge When you are shopping for a holster, look for one that will keep your pistol in place while you go about your normal daily activities.

5. Bending down can cause problems

A number of carry methods can cause printing dysfunction if you’re not careful. Most belt holsters, inside or outside the waistband, can cause the gun grip to press against the back of your shorts or cover garment if you lean forward too much. If you carry a gun daily, you quickly learn how to reach low things by bending your knees and keeping your back straight.

6. The number of people who also conceal carry

You will find yourself trying to spot other carriers. A good way to learn what not to do is to take those people that you spot carrying, and remember to not make those mistakes.

7. Guns are heavy.

Consider this: even if you buy a lightweight gun, the amo and extra magazines that you’ll carry with it really add up.

8. Heroism is overrated.

Prosecutors and the perps’ family members will try to take your money and freedom even if the shooting is completely justifiable.

9. It’s hard to beat a traditional belt holster.

Carrying on the belt is the safest and easist way to carry a gun. Is it a pain to conceal? Yes. Is it comfortable? Not necessarily. Do you have to adjust your dress code? Most likely. But when it comes to attributes designed to save your life in an emergency, it’s tough to beat.

10. You don’t know anything.

You learn so much the longer you carry. Having a firearm doesn’t make you safe. Carrying a gun is literally a matter of life or death, so make it a point to learn something new each and every day.
